The NATO Defense College, Rome, hosted the fifth NATO Early Career Nuclear Strategist Workshop in the summer of 2023. As lecturer, I presented on the novel risks introduced by a global drive for small, cheap nuclear power. This lecture was supported by a paper, wherein I discussed the rebound risks that can occur when driving solely for cost minimisation.
